Greetings! Thank you for coming to my page. I have built this page for many reasons, the first is that I love the South. I believe, also, that I can do a good job of honoring the South with an accurate presentation of it. I find that a lot of stereotyping goes on where the Southern folks are mis-represented as some sort of backwards, hicktown, redneck trash. I believe that this site will change your mind quite a bit.
If you are a fellow Southerner I am so glad you dropped by! If you have any feedback for me, I'd be thrilled to hear it -- good or bad! *S*
I have presented my views on certain issues and so forth, please don't assume that they are the views of all southerners... I have clearly indicated which views are mine, those of a select party, or the general south. I am not one to make sweeping generalizations, and I urge the same from you!
I will provide some links to The War of Northern Aggression (AKA: Civil War) on this page, but I am not an expert in that field. Slowly but surely I am learning more and more. Therefore, don't argue with me about the Civil War links, I just link what I think might be useful!
I have also added a few of my cooking tips and recipes as I have went along. There's no rhyme or reason for their placement on the page, and that's the way I like it!
